Weird Science

I didn't do so well with physics back in high school.  So if I find a project that seems to defy one of the laws of nature, I'm all over it.  It's kinda like getting back at all those old science teachers for giving us pop quizzes on Newton. 

Second Chances

You almost never get another chance to do something right the first time.  About the only place I know of where that happens is in the game of golf. If a golfer hits a shot that goes wrong it can be declared a "mulligan" and it's like it never happened.  Everyone just looks the other way and it doesn't count against your score.

Shrimp Salad

Unexpected Elegance

I love a good surprise but I was absolutely stunned when I walked through the front door of my friend Kathy's log home.  I never expected to find such a beautifully set table in a rustic cabin. 

It was Kathy's turn to host the monthly get together with her best girlfriends and these girls know how to party in style!

Front Porch Pillows

I put together a few pillows for the (still under construction) front porch in this tutorial.

But I'm pretty impatient and I just had to take them out and see how they are going to look.  You can step out on the porch with me but you're going to need a good imagination and the ability to squint a little to see how it's all going to go together.  

If Windows Could Talk

This one would tell you it was ready to retire.  Ready to be some place safe and warm.  Free from the work of keeping the elements out of it's building.
