Whew, the perfect wedding dress had been found!
Next up was finding the perfect spot to host the ceremony.

It would be a close group of family and friends, so the chapel needed to be,
small enough to be cozy
and big enough to be comfy.

It was a bit heartbreaking when the bride and groom learned that their favorite chapel was going to be under construction during the wedding. But they quickly found this sweet little church, The White Memorial Chapel, just across the street from Utah's capitol building.

It was adorable both inside and out.

It just needed a few of the bride's personal touches.

The wedding party had so much fun putting together these pew bows the night before the wedding.
They were made with a cream and white tulle cut to different lengths and wired together.
Then a "not too Christmasy" ornament was added.

Some bare branches were spray painted white and held in place with plaster of paris.
The doves had the best seat in the house.
A touch of lighted garland on either side of the podium gave the room a
warm glow on a
cold winter morning.
(Okay, nobody except me actually noticed the birds in the garland but it made me happy to know they were there.)

The guests arrived and place began to buzz.
All we needed was a bride!

A little help from her sister and one more hook to do up......
and she was ready to make her way down the spiral staircase.

I even took a turn myself.
